A sideswipe accident occurred Monday at 6 PM on Highway 7 and Chippewa County Road 7. Tamera R. Hein, age 51 of Montevideo
was taken to the Montevideo Hospital with a non-life threatening injury. Hein's vehicle, a 2004 Saturn was totaled. The driver of
the 2nd vehicle, Ronald Berneking, age 56 of Farwell was not injured. Berneking's vehicle, a 2000 International semi received
moderate damage. The Saturn was West bound on Highway 7, the semi was East bound. The Saturn lost control in the slush.
The vehicles collided in the East bound lane.
