A two vehicle accident occurred Thursday at 8:14 PM, on Highway 23 and Yellow Medicine County Road 18 near Hanley Falls.
Andrew R. Kolander, age 23 of Vesta was not injured. Kolander's vehicle, a 2004 Chevy pickup was totaled. The driver of the
second vehicle, Benjamin A. Rumney, age 31 of Marshall was not injured. The Rumney vehicle, a 2003 Kenworth semi was
totaled. Kolander was West bound on County Road 18, stopped at the stop sign, proceeded across Highway 23, and was struck
by the semi. The semi and loaded tanker tipped over and blocked the highway.
